If you are looking for the highest spec PS3 but do not really need to bundle a game with it then Sony have just reduced the price of the basic package to under $300. **UPDATED-CLICK HERE**
The price just released this morning is $295 (at time of writing, may go back up quick) is the best deal we have found and really gives you some options in getting the best present for christmas.
Normally with bundles you are quite limited to the games that are on offer (for instance our best Playstation 3 Move bundle) but at this price you can get the PS3 320gb, buy a game of your choice and still end up with spending less than a game bundle.

First xmas PS3 bundle released

The very first Playstation 3 bundle for this christmas will be released on Tuesday 1st November. The deal we have found contains the amazing ‘Uncharted 3′ and a huge 320gb Playstation 3 for a price setting $299.99. It seems this will be the entry point for PS3 bundles this christmas but we doubt that either Battlefield 3 bundles or Call of Duty MW3 bundles will be priced this low.

Quiet before the storm – InFamous 2 bundle only bargain around
That being said we have managed to find a great deal on the InFamous 2 bundle which not only gives you one of the best games this year (so far) but also a massive 320gb Playstation 3 for UNDER $300!!! It is one of the cheapest 320gb bundles we have found all year so we do not expect the offer to last long (as with the Black Ops bundle in our previous post, that went in 2 weeks).
